Yes, its raining. A good day for homework and indoor shopping! And it turned out to be great day. After trudging through some math, we took advantage of a brief break in the weather and went cruising the main drag for some suitable beach wear. Brendan finally scored a pair of Diesel flip-flops in his size, and Ryan scored a couple of Lacoste golf shirts and some Billabong shorts. Then at lunch, we spent several hours with two wonderful young travellers from Texas and South Carolina, Selia and Jessica (they had spent tons of time in New Zealand and Thailand and were wonderful company for the afternoon). We were trading stories of Asia and elsewhere and the afternoon passed without even noticing the torrential rain outside. During this time, Deb and Brendan had gone off for a Thai foot massage and returned smelling of Eucalyptus oils. Life is good.
