Cairo

Hotel Osiris, a beautiful hostel near the Egyptian Museum. We all went up to the terrace on the roof to wind down before bed. Nabil, the owner, and his dogs joined us. We talked about our journey and then the subject turned to Brendan’s allergies. Nabil assured us that they would be able to accommodate Brendan at lunch and dinner and he promised to make him a meat sandwich with some fruit for lunch. He helped us check the ingredients of the bread. We then put the kids kids to bed before returning to the terrace for some quiet time. It wasn’t long before sleep beckoned us. Our room is traditional Egyptian with colorful arches and bedspreads… and as clean as they come. Great beds with comfy duvets – we all slept like logs.
