Today, we went to tour the Knysna “Townships”, the taxfree areas where working class can build their homes, run their businesses and raise their dogs and livestocks in a citylike dw was well known by the community and added an insider’s dimension to the local butchery, tavern, barber, natural healer and locals. We felt lucky for the things we have compared to here. The good news is that these people were genuinely happy! We learned so much from the advise of the healer. We also visited the local Rastafarian sect where ganji is the drug of choice for being in touch with their inner gods! They wear their hair in dreadlocks and preach peace and love. I think their mantra was developed in the love-induced 60s of America!
In the pm, we went for a drive along their local beach before heading over to Brendan’s pizza place!
